°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â operates within the framework of a 1975 protocol with the Egyptian government, which in turn is based on a 1962 cultural relations agreement between the Egyptian and US governments. In the United States of America, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â is licensed to grant degrees and is incorporated by the state of Delaware. °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â is governed by a board of trustees and is administered by a chief executive officer appointed by this board.
